All geometry students received a letter today in class in regards to this boot camp. Students are encouraged to attend as many afternoon sessions as well possible. Please contact Mrs Richard or Ms Jack for any questions.  See attached flyer for more information and permission slip.

Students who plan to purchase tickets for Junior/Senior Prom, middle school prom, Grad Bash, or club field trips need to remember to get library clearance before the planned event. Taking care of this obligation early is important to avoid unexpected obstacles or long lines at the last minute. Students can come to the library during open hours to take care of their obligations. A receipt will be issued to show that any fees for late or lost books have been paid. If no fees are owed, the receipt will reflect a zero balance.

This year’s 22nd annual Earth Day celebration from 10am-2pm at Bahia Honda State Park focuses on protecting the environment. The theme is: “One person can…”, empowering each of us, as individuals, to know we can make a difference. Our informational booths will display what they are doing to help protect the environment, our craft tables will promote reusing and repurposing. The global Earth Day theme continues this year with a goal to plant one tree for every human being on earth by the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, which will occur in 2020. To help promote this global theme, Bahia Honda will host a native plant and tree give away at the event, thus promoting native landscaping and worldwide earth day goals.  The Friends of Bahia Honda will be holding a silent auction to raise money for projects at the park. It’s a great family fun day, with food and live entertainment.
